Monarch Manor Farm is not a stack and pack camper on top of camper place. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. Although the property can accommodate more than 50 sites, Rick keeps it at only 3 spacious sites around his organic spring fed pond stocked with Tilapia, Largemouth bass, Red ear and Bluegill. Those who enjoy catch and release or catch and eat are welcome. There is also an abundance of blackberries and elderberries you are welcomed to pick which usually begins mid May. Guests can also enjoy many different types of wildlife, birds, chickens and even Black Angus cows meandering around. Monarch Manor Farm is also an official Monarch Butterfly weigh station and safe respite for migrating butterflies. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment.  Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. All three sites are right around the pond with great views. A combination of large live oaks, shade and sun All sites also have a picnic table. Site 1 has your choice of 110 and 30amp power. There is no power at site 2 and 3. The bath house is equipped with 2 showers. One shower is heated by geothermal means and the other by a tankless hot water heater for evening showers. There is a foot pedal hand sink, portable-potty, and seating. All water is filtered and drinkable. There is a fish cleaning station equipped with a garden hose. Only 22 minutes from either Ocala, Fl or Gainesville, Fl. and 5min from Hwy. 75 We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends. We also offer booking larger groups of any size or all three all three sites at once. Highly recommend
Tent camping at Monarch Manor was some of the best my family and I have ever had. The sites are spacious and spread far enough apart that there is quite a lot of privacy. The only exception is going to and from the shower house but that was a huge NON issue. Rick is an awesome and very attentive host. He truly cares about his campers and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is comfortable and taken care of. His property is very well kept. The pond is stocked and both of my sons caught fish during our stay. They also really enjoyed picking the blackberries too. We are truly looking forward to our next visit to see our new friend Rick and his Monarch Manor.

Amazing hidden gem!
We only stayed for one night, but we really didn't want to leave this place! Rick has created a beautiful oasis here. At site 2, you have a large table, a fire ring, and even a charcoal grill. Firewood is available on site. We stayed in our Jeep, but there's ample room for tents and/or larger rigs. There are only a handful of sites, and we never felt cramped. We loved sitting by the fire, looking out at the quiet, little lake. The bath house is clean and simple, but adequate, and the warm shower was amazing! For sure, the cozies place we've camped at, and its worth every penny! We can't wait to go back! Rick is an awesome host! Thank you very much for having us!

Rick is incredibly friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed talking with him, and his property is wonderful. He has taken great care in setting things up and it shows. Highly recommend!!

Rick was great. His property is pretty incredible. Rick goes out of his way to make sure guests have what they need. I’ve never been camping and had a hot shower, it’s definitely a game changer! I would come back anytime I’m in the area.

10/10 Experience!
Our recent camping trip to Rick's property was nothing short of magical. Celebrating my daughter's birthday amidst nature, we found ourselves immersed in an experience that was both relaxing and exhilarating. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this wasn't just any camping spot - it was a slice of paradise tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon our arrival, Rick warmly welcomed us and showed us around his picturesque property. Nestled around a serene pond, the three spacious campsites were strategically spaced apart, offering a sense of solitude and privacy that is hard to find elsewhere. Each site was thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort while blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Fishing was one of the highlights of our trip. Although we only managed to catch small fish initially, Rick's enthusiasm and encouragement never waned. He assured us that the pond was teeming with larger fish, and to our delight, he even joined us with his fishing pole. Within no time, he had caught a sizable fish for us to cook. His expertise didn't end there; he also provided a convenient station for us to clean the fish, ensuring a seamless experience from catch to plate. Exploring the expansive property was an adventure in itself. With 40 acres of open space waiting to be discovered, we found ourselves lost in the beauty of nature. We stumbled upon blueberry bushes beginning to bloom, and couldn't resist picking handfuls of the sweet berries.
